Stone Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Powell, will be hosting a charity pig racing event at Stone Golf Club on Friday 27th January.
The charity pig race has been a long standing fundraising event for mayors in Stone. This year’s mayor, Councillor Jonathan Powell, will be hosting his event at Stone Golf Club at 7pm on Friday the 27th of January 2023.
Tickets for the event cost £10 per person, including a pork bap and chip supper – there will also be a cash bar in operation. Tickets can be purchased from Stone Town Council by contacting them on 01785 619743.

Doors open at 7pm, with the first race starting at 7:30pm.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the mayor’s chosen charities. This year those are Stone Community Hub and Chuckle Productions.
