Following a successful return to Stone High Street at the start of the month, a second farmers market will be joined by the monthly craft market on Saturday 19th December.
Both markets kick off at 9am, and run to the mid-afternoon, finishing between 3pm and 4pm, and the successful spread out layout will be used for a second time.
The markets are a great opportunity to head into the town, in a Covid safe manner, where you can also visit the many shops with their festive windows.
Market-goers are once again reminded that they need to maintain their own Covid precautions, utilise hand sanitizer, maintain social distance and consider the use of face coverings – although they are not mandatory for outdoor spaces.
As well as the market being on, many of the local independent shops will also be open and once again car parking will be FREE to use at the Stafford Borough Council car parks on Crown Street and Chirstchurch Way thanks to Stone Town Council who are picking up the parking tab.
Visitors to the town centre can also follow the Christ Church Advent Window Trail and the Stone Traders Group, who run “Stone is Where the Heart is”, have on their Facebook page competitions, a gift guide and details of the group’s loyalty scheme – https://www.facebook.com/stoneiswheretheheartis/
