The terrible weather has forced organisers of this year’s Stone Lions duck race to call the event off. It’s certainly been weather for ducks – unfortunately, there’s been too much rain.
The popular fund-raising race was due to take place on Saturday 7th July but will now be held later in the ‘summer’! Unsafe conditions in the river and Westbridge Park have forced the cancellation.
