Stone Lions’ annual duck race and family fun day takes place on Saturday 2nd July.
The duck race – which sees hundreds of plastic ducks tipped into the River Trent at Westbridge Park – is being held at 12pm, with tickets on sale before the race starts at £1 each.
The family fun day immediately after the race will feature quad bikes, fairground rides, stalls, mini steam train, bouncy castle, refreshments, competitions and crafts.

There will also be an acrobatics display by Stone Accro.
Charities or organisations that would like a stall at the event should call Mark or Kristan Green on 01785 811446. It costs £10 to book a stall, but this is refunded on the day.
