Stone Mayor, Councillor Jon Powell, is taking over Walton Community Centre on the 1st of October with a charity quiz in aid of Stone Community Hub and Chuckle Productions.
Each time a new mayor is elected (or re-elected), they select good causes in the community to support. The current Stone Mayor, Jon Powell, selected Stone Community Hub and Chuckle Productions as his nominated charities.
Throughout the year, they support their chosen charities via a number of different means, and the Stone Mayor is holding a charity quiz, with proceeds being split between the two charities.
The quiz takes place on Saturday the 1st of October, from 7:30pm, at Walton Community Centre.
Tickets for the charity event cost £6 per person, with a maximum of six people per team.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along, as well as their competitive spirit!
