Stone is renowned for its Food and Drink scene, and it’s brilliant to see that we will have two street food events in May!
In previous years, the street food events on Stone High Street and Westbridge Park have been put on between Feast Stone, Stone Traders Group and the Stone Food and Drink Festival. For 2022, these events go separate ways with Feast Stone continuing to run their events, this time with a new venue, day of the week and times and the Stone Traders Group and Stone Food and Drink Festival collaborating as “Stone Street Food” to retain a Stone High Street event.
Both events get underway in May, with Feast holding its first event at Stone Cricket Club, on Lichfield Road, this Friday 6th May from 5pm until 9pm.
Stone Street Food kick off its first 2022 event on Thursday 12th May on Stone High Street, from 3pm until 9pm.
Both organisations have dedicated Facebook Pages (and other associated social media profiles) which have event details, stallholder details and more!

Daren Bach of Feast Stone spoke to A Little Bit of Stone:
“Having run the Feast Stone events for a number of years, we had lots of valuable feedback that we wanted to use to shape our future events.
For 2022 we’ve therefore moved Feast Stone to a Friday, a great way to kick off the weekend and we’ve also gone for a venue in Stone SP Cricket Club where visitors can access the marquee and club bar – making it ideal for when the British weather gods roll their dice.
We will have a range of seating at our family (and pet) friendly event with lots of the traders we know you’ll love to see again. We’ve got the Fabulous Fizz Bar, event crepes, Mukasse and of course Churros Hermanos – all firm favourites!
We look forward to welcoming people back to Feast Stone, watch our social media for the most up to date information.”
Richard Stevens, Chairman of the Stone Food & Drink Festival, told A Little Bit of Stone:
“The Stone Food & Drink Festival team is delighted to continue working alongside Stone Traders’ Group – who you may know as Stone is Where the Heart Is – to bring Street Food events to the High Street.
“From the start, our joint aim has been to bring visitors into the town centre and support the local businesses – and people have voted with their feet. Previous events have bought a real
Buzz into the town centre and we are sure they will continue to do so, with a mix of Street Food events and seasonal markets planned for 2022.“We wish the FEAST Stone team all the best and are sure their event in its new location will also be a success. We look forward to seeing you all in the High Street for the first edition of ‘Stone Street Food’ on Thursday 12th May.”
