Stone Town Conservatives launch survey on Westbridge Park development

Westbridge ParkThe Stone Town Conservatives group have this week launched a survey to gather feedback on the development of leisure facilities on Westbridge Park, as well as how they are funded.

Firstly before we get into the press release from Stone Town Conservatives I want to set out the following to manage expectations:

[box type=”info” align=”alignleft” class=”” width=””]Background – Who / What is the Stone Conservative Branch

There are 10 local Conservative branches that make up the Parliamentary Constituency. The Stone Conservative Branch represent Stone Town. Some of the other branches within the constituency are Eccleshall, Fulford, Cheadle, Gnosall etc. The Stone Conservative Branch’s role is to represent the Conservative party in Stone.

A major part of their remit is to support and campaign for Conservative candidates at Town, Borough, Council and Parliamentary level.

There are currently no Conservative councillors at town, borough or county level representing the town of Stone, which the branch is looking to change come election time.[/box]

This survey is a fact-finding survey for the Stone Town Conservatives group and doesn’t form part of any official consultation that Stafford Borough Council is undertaking in relation to the development of Westbridge Park. Details of the official consultation, which began in 2017 can be found on the Stafford Borough Council website – https://www.staffordbc.gov.uk/westbridgeparkconsultation

The phase 2 consultation completed in 2018 and a report was produced, which again can be seen on the official consultation page linked above.

There is no closing date for the survey and optionally you can choose to provide your personal data for inclusion a prize draw – there are details of this on the last page of the survey.

There’s no other demographic profiling (other than constituency area) or personal information captured during the survey process.

The Stone Town Conservatives will share the results at a future point.
