Stone Trent have followed up a successful first season in winning the Uttoxeter & District League title by being accepted into the Midland Regional Alliance League, playing in the Premier Division.
The team, based at Alleyne’s Sports Centre, will be the first team to play Saturday football in Stone for approximately fifteen years. The club is being run by Chairman Richard Jones and managed by Ellis Quinn, who joins from Leek Town, and his son Jake.
The club is once again indebted to main sponsors Planned Office and has also joined forces with The Wheatsheaf at Oulton for post-match hospitality.
