Stone Welcomes First-Ever Vegan Market to High Street

Stone Vegan Market

Stone Town Council is bringing something new to the High Street on Saturday, 16th November, with the launch of its first Stone Vegan Market.

The event, which runs from 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., promises a vibrant array of plant-based food, crafts, and sustainable products for both locals and visitors.

A Unique Addition to Stone’s Saturday Markets

In collaboration with the Vegan Market Company, Stone Town Council has crafted this event to coincide with its established Craft and Collectables Market. Expect the High Street to be bustling with a mix of vegan street food, artisan bakers, craft brewers, ethical jewellers, and local artists, offering a diverse range of unique products. Environmental charities will also be present, providing a chance for residents to learn more about supporting sustainable causes.

Supporting Local Sustainability and Tourism

Councillor Jill Hood, Chair of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee, shared her enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its potential to become a staple in Stone’s community calendar. “This is the first vegan market we have held, and I’m sure it will be a great success and, with community support, could become a regular feature for the town,” said Cllr Hood.
