It’s fantastic to be able to report that the Stone Revellers will be bringing a panto back to Stone this Christmas as they put on 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS from Wednesday 1st to Saturday 4th December at St Michael’s Hall.
The show will take place at St. Michael’s hall on Lichfield Street, with the show being a mash-up of a Pantomime and a heart-warming Christmas show.
Director Rob Stanway told A Little Bit of Stone:
“We’ve desperately missed producing our shows so we’re throwing the kitchen sink at our comeback.“Panto is a huge part of Christmas and so much fun for adults and children alike – so we’re hoping to bring back the Christmas cheer and entertain the good people of Stone once more!”.
It will be two years since the group last took to the stage with their 2019 Panto “Princess & The Pea” – which has been the group’s only break since 1978. The Revellers usually produce four shows per year, so if the pandemic hadn’t struck, we would have had seven brilliantly put together local shows since the curtain went down at the end of Christmas 2019.
This could also be the last pantomime at St Michael’s Hall as there are strong rumours circulating that next year’s Panto will be at the brand new Crown Wharf Theatre! However, the Revellers do plan to keep using the rehearsal space at the hall on Lichfield Street.
This fabulous pantomime showcases local performers across all age groups, and the show is family-friendly and suitable for all ages.
Tickets cost £12.50 for adults and £10.50 for u16’s and over 65s. They can be purchased directly from www.stonerevellers.org.uk via Credit/Debit card or in person (cash only) at Home & Colour Centre on Stone High Street.
