A packed afternoon of family fun, food, and live music is coming to The Crossing Community Centre in Stone on Sunday, 29th June.

Summer Fest set to bring the community together
From 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, The Crossing on Station Approach will be buzzing with summer vibes as it plays host to a free-to-attend event full of activities for all ages. Organised by Church at the Crossing, Summer Fest promises to be a lively and welcoming afternoon that local families won’t want to miss.
Children can look forward to bouncing away on the bouncy castle, trying their hand at the penalty shoot-out, or diving into the dedicated toddler play zone. There’ll also be a craft area, face-painting, and classic garden games dotted around to keep everyone entertained.
A proper summer spread
No summer fair is complete without some good food, and this one is no exception. Griffin & Gray will be firing up the barbecue, bringing the scent of sizzling summer favourites to the air. There’ll also be an ice-cream on hand to help everyone cool down.
Stalls and music to enjoy
A variety of stalls will be open during the event, with something to browse, buy, or try throughout the afternoon. Live music will also be playing across the event, adding to the upbeat festival feel.
At the heart of the community
Entry is completely free and there’s no need to book. Just turn up, join in, and enjoy the day.
If you’re new to the area or have never been to The Crossing before, this is a great opportunity to pop by and see what it’s all about. The venue is just by Stone Railway Station, making it an easy stroll for those coming from the town centre.
