Huge thanks to everyone who has backed our crowdfunding campaign so generously – we hit our target tonight (29th September).
We’re overwhelmed by the support we’ve received, putting it mildly. At time of writing, 137 individuals and businesses have pledged to our campaign so that we can deliver a brand new website with lots of new features and deliver even more news and information totally dedicated to this fantastic town.
Thank you to everyone who has pledged, but also to those individuals and businesses who have given us advice, encouragement and valuable feedback – it’s been appreciated so much.
We’re really humbled by the support for what we’ve been doing with A Little Bit of Stone this last four years, and feel a keen responsibility now to make the website and our social media even better. We won’t let you down. We just can’t wait to put our plans into place, which we’ll start to do when the campaign ends.
The campaign’s end date is Friday 17th October. If you were intending to support but haven’t done so yet, don’t worry, you still can. Any funds above our target will go towards equipment – video recorder, audio recorders, digital cameras etc – that the Little Bit of Stone team, including our volunteers, can use.
