A Stone resident has reported an incident of vehicle vandalism on Airdale Road believed to have taken place overnight between New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
According to the report, a black Mercedes parked on Airdale Road was vandalised during the night. Damage was caused to the vehicle, with scratches visible across the bonnet.
The resident has shared the information to alert others living nearby and to ask for help in identifying what happened.
Neighbours in the area are already checking CCTV footage, and an appeal has been made to anyone else who may have relevant recordings.
Appeal for CCTV and dashcam footage
Residents with doorbell cameras, home CCTV systems, or dashcam footage covering Airdale Road during the night of Tuesday 31 December into Wednesday 1 January are being asked to review their footage.
Anyone who noticed anything unusual overnight is also encouraged to come forward.
Residents are being asked to remain vigilant and to report any relevant information if they are able to help.
