Police seize drugs after Stone canal boat bust

Police have seized drugs and detained two men following a warrant carried out on a canal boat in Stone this morning.

Officers confirmed that the action on Friday, 19th September, was part of ongoing efforts to tackle drug-related crime in the town. Enquiries are continuing.

Police statement

A spokesperson said:

“Local officers have carried out a warrant on a canal boat this morning in the area of Stone.

A quantity of drugs have been seized and two males were detained.

Whilst enquiries are ongoing, we will continue to take positive action to target individuals involved in drug-related activity.
