Window with a twist at Yarn Gathering!

Children from Christ Church First School will be guests of honour at the grand opening of window number 10 of this year’s Stone Advent Windows.

On Friday 10th December at 4pm, YarnGathering, Stone’s local yarn store in Radford Street, will be opening their Advent window. Children from Christ Church First School in Radford Street have working with Jeanette, the store owner, in crafting a window display which Jeanette says is “traditional but with a little twist”.

Jeanette said: “I hope the composer of the hymn we have been given for our window will not be too upset that  some artistic licence will be used.

If you’re intrigued to see what Jeanette and the school pupils have created, why not be at Yarn Gathering at 4pm on Friday? There will be carols, mince pies and a little ‘warming brew’ for all who go along.
