Wolseley Centre Offers a Brush Up for Artists

A watercolour painting course at Staffordshire Wildlife Trusts headquarters is offering aspiring artists the chance to brush up their skills.

Both beginners and intermediates will be catered for on the 6 week course at the Trust’s Wolseley base, near Rugeley. Local artist Sue Chatterton will lead the course, and the theme will include learning to paint the perfect sky.

“We are really pleased Sue will be returning to lead this popular course.” said Sam Pachner, Conference and Events Officer at the Trust “The practical sessions are held in a relaxed, no pressure and fun environment, so even the most novice of painters can progress at their own pace.”

The course starts on Thursday 8th September and runs for six weeks until Thursday 20th October, with sessions running between 7pm and 9pm in the Trust’s Gatehouse building. A portion of the £60 fee for the course will be going to support Staffordshire Wildlife Trust’s work protecting wildlife across the county.
