Eat Out StatsData released on the 4th September shows that to the 27th August 108,000 discounted meals were claimed in the Stone parliamentary constituency via the Eat Out to Help Out government scheme.

We don’t have specific figures for the town itself as all data has been accrued at constituency level, the size of the Stone constituency can be seen here and includes quite a large geographical area.

The average discount received was £7.40, with the maximum available being £10.00 per meal and the average across the West Midlands region being £5.58.

In all £798,000 was the total value of discount meals supplied under the scheme in our constituency.

Across the Stone constituency, 114 eateries took part with Stone having over twenty at some points during the scheme.

We look forward to seeing the final totals and it’s great to see the boost this scheme gave to the town, some of which have taken the initiative on themselves for September.
