Big Easter celebrations at World of Wedgwood

Chocadooby!

With a huge Easter egg up for grabs, and lots of special activities lined up, Barlaston’s World of Wedgwood will be providing big fun for families this Easter holiday from 25th March right through to 15th April.

Up to Sunday 27th March, visitors will be invited to guess the weight of a giant chocolate egg – whoever guesses the closest will be the lucky recipient who gets to take it home.  There will be workshops taking place in the Decorating Studio enabling visitors to make their own Easter bunny (sadly inedible this time!) by press moulding clay, which they can then take home to decorate.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to design their very own Easter-inspired plate, with a prize for the best design within each of the four age categories.

World of Wedgwood’s popular Play with Clay sessions commence on Easter Monday, 28th March, giving visitors the chance to have a go at throwing a pot free of charge.  In addition there will be face painting and giant games to keep the little ones entertained.

As if all that wasn’t enough, there’ll also be an Easter themed trail around the Wedgwood museum, again from 25th March to 15th April inclusive, to test would-be super-sleuth families on their investigative and and fact-finding skills.

Then on Sunday 27th March, the Dining Hall will be offering a special Easter menu – the popular children’s menu will be available throughout the Easter period too.
