The secretary of Stone Recorded Music Society has invited people in the town to find out more about what’s on offer in 2012, the 67th year in the town for the music-loving group.
Recitals, which start at 7.30pm, are held on alternate Fridays at Walton Community Centre in Whitemill Lane.
Geoff Owen, secretary, said: “The usual format is that the presenter brings along a selection of tracks and introduces them with a few comments about the composer, performers and/or the music. The music is mainly classical but not exclusively so. All very relaxing and enjoyable we hope! There’s no charge for first-time visitors. Please feel free to visit us and see whether you enjoy the music. We‘re sure you‘ll enjoy our company!”
Call Geoff on 01785 817402 for more information.
