Fire service needs your input on future plans

People in Stone are being urged to help Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service plan its future.

The service is currently developing its new Corporate Safety Plan (CSP), which sets out what it aims to accomplish from 2014 to 2017. And it will be looking to build on its current success after a record-breaking year of preventing fires. More on that HERE.

Ian Housley, Corporate Safety Plan Manager said: “Our vision is to make Staffordshire the safest place to be. We are committed to the principle that prevention is more effective and cheaper than cure, but also to backing this up with a first-class emergency response service.

“The Fire and Rescue Service, as with all of the public sector, is currently facing great challenges and will continue to do so over the life of our next Corporate Safety Plan. This is why it is so important that we make our plans with the contribution and support of the communities that we serve. We need as many people as possible to take part and have their say.”

An online questionnaire can be found HERE, along with a summary of the proposals.
