Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service is holding an apprenticeships recruitment day at its headquarters in Stone.

The event will take place at the service’s HQ at Pirehill on Monday 9th March. Four two-hour sessions will take place running from 10am-noon, 12.30pm-2.30pm, 3pm-5pm and 5.30pm-7.30pm. To book a place on one of the events email recruitment@staffordshirefire.gov.uk

The apprenticeships are open to people aged 16 and over and who have left school. The apprenticeships include business administration, catering, community safety, ICT technical support, maintenance, motor vehicle technician and project assistant.

Learning and Development Manager Tim Wareham said: “The people who work at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are its biggest asset and we are keen to add enthusiastic, talented and hardworking apprentices to the team. “The recruitment day is a great opportunity for people to find out about the roles that are available, to speak to members of staff from the Service and ask any questions they may have. We have had a number of apprentices over the years who have gone on to do extremely well within the Service and we will support and encourage new apprentices to achieve their very best too.”
