Pantomime duo return to the Regent Theatre for Cinderella!

CinderellaFriday 10th December sees the curtain raise at Stoke’s Regent Theatre as Jonathan Wilkes and Christian Patterson reunite for a pantomime production of Cinderella!

Cinderella will be taking over the stage from Friday 10 December 2021 until Sun 2 Jan 2022 with Jonny Wilkes staring as the hilarious Buttons while Christian Patterson will play Baroness Hardup.

This partnership has been bringing laugh-out-loud comedy to audiences for years, and we don’t doubt that this year will be more of the same!

No stranger to the stage, Jonny has enjoyed a varied stage career including lead roles in Chicago, The Rocky Horror Show, Guys and Dolls and Grease, and held hosting duties on You’ve Been Framed and Love on a Saturday Night on television.

Jonny Wilkes said:

“I can’t wait to return to my hometown for Cinderella, and to bring panto back to Stoke after such a long time.

It’s been a long wait, but we’re thrilled we’re able to go ahead this year and have been busy thinking up all sorts of hilarious plans to make this panto our best one yet.”

Cinderella PantomimeChristian Patterson stars alongside Jonny in the stage partnership that delights Stoke audiences year after year. Trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Christian’s extensive list of stage credits include The Woman in Black, Journey’s End and Oliver!

Joining Jonny and Christian will be returning favourite Kai Owen as Dandini and the sensational Naomi Slights as Cinderella.

Brought to audiences by Crossroads Pantomimes, the same team behind the city’s annual festive production for the past three years, Cinderella will feature all of the madcap mayhem the Potteries’ pair has become best known for, with spectacular special effects, stunning song and dance and plenty of audience participation.
