Stone hockey U12s boys won the county championships in February against Lichfield Hockey Club.
The boys fought off all the other teams to go undefeated and didn’t concede any goals to come out champions! The victory is made all the more remarkable with some players still eligible to play at the U10 level.
The team now progress through to the regional championships in Nottingham, which take place on March 20th. If the team are successful then they will then progress on to the national championships.
On the weekend that the boys claimed the championship the U12s girl’s team and the boys and girls U8 teams also played, doing brilliantly with lots of goals scored.
Coming up on the 27th February is the U10s tournament which they hope to get success with.
Training for anyone interested takes place at Stone Hockey Club (on the A34) on Tuesday evenings.
