2023 Elections – Stone Town Council and Stafford Borough Council
On Thursday, the 4th of May 2023, eligible voters can vote in local elections, selecting eighteen Stone Town Councillors and five Stafford Borough Councillors to represent them.

Photo ID Requirements
New Government rules mean Stone residents turning up to vote at a polling station must show identification – with a list of accepted forms of ID listed on the Electoral Commission website. They include a UK passport, Driving Licence, or disabled blue badge, and you can find the full list from Voter ID | Electoral Commission
If you don’t have any of the accepted identification, you can apply for a free ‘Voter Authority Certificate’ at www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-
