Easter egg appeal for Stone Community Hub Food Bank

A local funeral director is asking Stone residents to pick up an extra Easter egg this year.

Price & Stubbs Funeral Directors on Mill Street has launched an Easter egg appeal in support of Stone Community Hub Food Bank, with donations now being collected during office hours.

Collecting eggs for families in need

The appeal invites people to donate a chocolate Easter egg, any size, as long as it is shop bought and unopened.

All donations will go directly to families supported by the Stone Community Hub Food Bank, helping to ensure children do not miss out over the Easter period.

In a message shared with the community, the team said:

“Help Us Share a Little Easter Kindness

At this special time of year, we’re reminded how important community and compassion truly are.

This Easter, we’re supporting our local food bank by collecting donations of Easter eggs to help bring a small moment of joy to families who may be struggling.

If you’re able to donate a chocolate Easter egg, any size, shop bought and unopened, you can drop it off at our funeral home during office hours between now and 8:30 am and 5 pm.

A simple gift can make a big difference to a child this Easter.

Thank you for helping us spread a little comfort and kindness in our community.”

Donations can be dropped off at Price & Stubbs Funeral Directors, Mill Street, Stone, ST15 8BA, between 8:30 am and 5 pm on weekdays.

The funeral home has previously supported local causes, and this latest appeal continues that community focus.
