Anyone wanting to drop off unwanted items without leaving their car will be able to do so in Stone this weekend, as AEDdonate hosts a drive thru donation day at its Emerald Way donation centre.
The event is taking place on Sunday 12 April, from 10am to 4pm, at Unit 10 Emerald Way, Stone, ST15 0SR.
AEDdonate says supporters can simply drive up and its team will unload donations for them. Visitors are also being invited to meet the charity’s team and stop for a brew while dropping items off.
Items accepted on the day include clothes and shoes, books, toys, household items, home décor, small electricals and furniture.
Money raised from donated items helps AEDdonate fund life saving defibrillators.
For anyone having a clear out, it offers a straightforward way to pass useful items on without the hassle of carrying them in themselves.
The poster also notes that if the team is unable to accept a particular item, the household recycling centre is just around the corner – handy!
