Stagecoach Theatre Arts School in Newcastle under Lyme is bringing the production to the town from Wednesday 29 April to Saturday 2 May. Performances start at 7.30pm each evening and tickets are priced at £15.

Discover the world through the extraordinary mind of 15-year-old Christopher Boone in the Tony and Olivier Award-winning sensation, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. Christopher is exceptional at mathematics but struggles to understand human emotions and social cues. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbour’s dog, he vows to solve the mystery, modeling himself after Sherlock Holmes.

This gripping, heartwarming, and poignant story follows his journey from his rigid daily routines into a frightening, unpredictable world. As his investigation uncovers unsettling secrets about his family, Christopher embarks on a dangerous adventure to London that tests his courage and resilience.

Daniel Hough, whose screen credits include Hollyoaks and Speak No Evil, is due to play Christopher in the Thursday and Saturday performances.

The production will use immersive projection as part of the staging at Crown Wharf Theatre.

The show may also be of interest to local families with older children, as the book and stage adaptation are widely studied at GCSE level.
