Stone residents are being reminded to check their bin days before wheeling anything out over the May bank holiday.
Household food, recycling and waste collections across Stafford Borough, including Stone, will run to revised dates from bank holiday Monday, 4 May, to Saturday 9 May 2026.
The changes affect green, blue and brown bins, as well as food waste collections.
Residents can check their rescheduled collection date through Stafford Borough Council’s online collection day checker at www.staffordbc.gov.uk/collectiondays.

Bins and food caddies should be put out by 7am on the revised collection day.
So, before putting the bins out on autopilot, Stone households may want to give their usual collection day a quick check.
