A newly formed Stone grassroots football team is hoping a local business will help its young players take to the pitch in their first club kit.
Stone Old Alleynians Under 9s consists of eight children and is being led by Matt Barnish, who has recently taken on the team.
The team does not currently have a playing kit, so Matt is looking for a Stone business to sponsor eight strips. Each strip costs £32, with the final cost confirmed through an official invoice from the club secretary.
In return, the sponsoring company’s name would appear on the front of the team’s shirts.
Matt hopes the sponsor can be found as soon as possible and would particularly like the support to come from a business in Stone.
He said
“Ideally, I would love to keep the sponsorship in Stone so it’s local.”
