Families considering school places in Stone can visit two local schools at open events taking place next week.
Pirehill First School will hold an open day on Thursday 15 October, followed by an open morning at St Dominic’s Catholic Primary School on Saturday 17 October.
Pirehill First School, on Tilling Drive, is offering three visiting times at 9.30am, 2pm and 5pm.
The school says visitors will be able to see its recently refurbished learning environment, meet staff and find out more about the school. Its open day publicity also highlights comments from an Ofsted inspection in June, including that pupils “arrive happily each day”.
Visits should be booked in advance using the school’s online booking form.
