Stone Community Hub’s monthly carers’ support group will return later this month, with the next session focusing on mental health and emotional wellbeing.
The ‘One Step at a Time’ group will meet on Tuesday 27 October from 10.30am to noon at the Stonefield Room in the Frank Jordan Centre on Lichfield Street.
Samantha Myles will join the October session to talk about mental health and emotional wellbeing, with carers able to listen, share their experiences and ask questions.
The group meets on the last Tuesday of each month and provides an opportunity for carers to meet others who understand the challenges of caring for a family member or friend.
Stone Community Hub says professionals also attend sessions to offer support and information. Refreshments will be available, and carers can simply drop in on the day.
The session takes place at Stone Community Hub, Frank Jordan Centre, Stonefield Room, Lichfield Street, Stone, ST15 8NA.
