Do you have a passion for poetry, a love for Stone and something to say? If so then we’re pleased to announce the launch of what we hope will become a regular poetry feature.
The feature is open to all who have a connection to Stone, you can live here, work here, enjoy shopping, drinking or eating here or be an ex-pat – all are welcome! There are no age limits so this is something that’s open to all and hopefully fun.
Each feature will have a particular subject for a poem to be written about, and for this first edition the topic is “A Little Bit of Stone”. We’re not looking for poem’s about us, but poems about YOUR little bit of Stone. It could be the area you live in, the town as a whole, a Friday night out with friends in the town, the shops and businesses that you support – basically anything that connects you and Stone.
If you’re part of a school, youth organisation or other group-based organisation then you’re welcome to share the details and encourage submissions too.
