Alleyne’s Academy celebrates the success of its 16-year-olds

Alleyne's Academy

Figures released by Ofsted and the Department for Education show that Alleyne’s Academy is the fourth highest performing state school in the whole of Staffordshire in 2015.

Seventy per cent of its students obtained five or more A* to C grades, including A* to C in English and maths at GCSE level.

Students make exceptionally good progress at the school: the Ofsted figures show that progress made was “significantly better” than that made by similar ability students nationally and puts the Academy in the top third of all state schools in England for the progress made by its students.

Staff work hard and teach exceptionally well, providing students with individually tailored advice and support to enable them to achieve so highly. Parents with secondary aged children are recognising the quality of education provided at Alleyne’s Academy because we are receiving a significant number of applications to join the Academy from students living outside the Stone area.”[/box]
