Someone’s been making a real effort to make the welcome to our great town even warmer than usual!
The knitted bunting appeared on the ‘Welcome to Stone’ sign on the canal towpath near the Whitebridge estate last weekend – and looks fabulous! Thanks to Sallie Tams for the photograph.

Sallie said: “No idea who took the time and trouble to put it there but what a nice way to greet visitors – makes a fantastic change from graffiti!”
