Audio interview: Marvellous Mary set to retire

It will be the end of an era at St Michael’s First School this summer as Mary Gale, headteacher for the last 17 years, retires.

Staff, pupils and parents will be saying their goodbyes to the inspirational head on Friday 19th July, although she’ll be working hard preparing for the next school year right up until the end of August.
