Organisers of Stone Music and Arts Festival are holding a Battle of the Bands to find a young band or solo performer to play on the main stage during this year’s festival in May.
The competition is open to bands and solo artists from Stone who are under 18 on 30th September 2011. The competition rules state that ‘Stone’ is defined as the catchment area served by Alleynes High School.

The competition will be held at The Den youth cafe in Lichfield Street in March and April, with the winning band or performer appearing on the festival main stage on Sunday 29th May. The winner also gets a day in a recording studio.
