Best foot forward for Stafford Borough Walking Festival

The 2015 Stafford Borough Walking Festival takes place between Saturday 2nd and Sunday 10th May, with over 30 opportunities to join led or independent walks across the borough, including in Stone.

Activities include a bluebell woods walk at Sugnall Walled Garden, a walk and Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Trentham Monkey Forest (and a separate one at Trentham Gardens), a walk around Stone on Tuesday 5th May, a fairy hunt in Stafford’s Victoria Park, Nordic walking, water walking, wildlife walks and lots more.

The festival is now in its sixth year and is a Stafford Borough Council-run event in partnership with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, The Trentham Estate and Trentham Monkey Forest. This year’s festival coincides with the 80th anniversary of the Ramblers and the Living Streets Walking Month.
