Residents across Stafford Borough are being reminded to check their bin calendars for changes to the collection service over the festive period.

Homes across the borough currently recycle around 55% of all the waste collected from the doorsteps. And householders can also get cardboard collected on the first scheduled blue bin collection day after Christmas if it is bundled and put beside the bin.
Stafford Borough Council has also advertised places that are composting Christmas Trees including the Staffordshire County Council site on St Albans Road, Stafford and the Beacon Road site in Stone www.staffordshire.gov.uk/recyclingcentres.
