More than 150 children’s books are set to be hidden around Stone as part of a new summer reading treasure hunt.
The Look for a Book event, organised by My Bookworm Adventures, will begin at Westbridge Park later this week before moving to other parks and locations around the town over the coming weeks.
Children who discover one of the books can take it home, read it and share it with their family. They can then choose to keep it or return it for somebody else to find.
Organisers have also suggested that some young book hunters could discover small treats during their search.
The books have been funded with support from three local sponsors, Greenhill Roofing, Studio B School of Dance and Purely Dogs.
Clues about where the books have been hidden will be shared through the My Bookworm Adventures social media account.
