D&G Bus services 102 and 102A will have a revised timetable from the start of September.

Two journeys on the 102 will be revised to run between Eccleshall and Stone via Yarnfield and Swynnerton.

On schooldays, the journeys will also serve Alleyne’s Academy and will replace the existing 103S operated by Select Bus Services.

The new timetable shows a morning journey leaving Eccleshall at 7.50am, reaching Christchurch Way in Stone at 8.18am and continuing to Alleyne’s Academy for 8.23am.

In the afternoon, the return journey leaves Alleyne’s Academy at 3.35pm, calls at Christchurch Way at 3.40pm and reaches Eccleshall at 4.08pm.

The Eccleshall journeys will also operate on Saturdays, without the school diversion. The Saturday morning service leaves Eccleshall at 7.50am and reaches Stone at 8.18am, while the afternoon journey leaves Stone at 3.40pm and arrives in Eccleshall at 4.08pm.

D&G’s full 102 and 102A timetable is available at https://www.dgbus.co.uk/media/5663/102-102a_2026-09-01.pdf.

Services 103 and 104, linking Stone with Eccleshall and Barlaston, will also change operator from 1 September, with Staffordshire County Council confirming that Carolean Coaches will take over the routes.

The changes coincide with the launch of the new Chaserider 151 between Stone and Rugeley.

As previously reported by A Little Bit of Stone, the hourly Monday to Saturday service will run via Aston Lodge, Burston, Sandon, Weston, Hixon, Great Haywood, Little Haywood and Colwich.

The 151 will replace D&G service A between Stone and Aston Lodge as part of an initial one year trial.

ALBOS has previously published the full 151 timetable and details of which journeys will serve Aston Lodge at https://alittlebitofstone.com/new-stone-to-rugeley-bus-service-will-replace-service-a-from-september/.

Passengers who use any of the affected services are advised to check their timetable before travelling from Tuesday 1 September.
