Don’t forget to check your bin collection calendars for changes to rubbish collection days in Stone over the festive period.
A revised collection service is in place for the period from Saturday 21st December until 4th January – with details of the day changes are highlighted on your bin calendar. You can also check dates online at www.staffordbc.gov.uk/collectiondays or get a replacement calendar by emailing info@staffordbc.gov.uk or on 01785 619402.
You can put out an extra three bags of rubbish after Christmas as part of the festive collection arrangements.
There will also be a special collection of extra cardboard for the first scheduled collection of the blue bin after Christmas. Cardboard tied in a bundle (not bagged) placed at the side of the blue bin will be collected in addition to your blue bin.
Christmas tree recycling is also offered at a number of sites across the borough – including Westbridge Park – between Friday 3rd January and Friday 10th January.
