A new community garden will be officially opened at Church at the Crossing with an afternoon tea celebration this June.

The Crossing Community Garden opening celebration will take place on Sunday 7 June, from 2.30pm to 4pm.
Organisers say the garden has been created as a space for people to enjoy, whether they want somewhere quiet to reflect, a place to enjoy the sunshine, or to get involved with the gardening club.
The event will include afternoon tea as part of the opening celebration.
The garden was made possible with funding from Father Hudson’s Caritas and will be jointly managed with Futures2gether who operate sessions for adults with additional needs from The Crossing Community Centre.
People who would like to support the project can make a donation towards plants and garden items that are still needed. Donations can be made at risingbrook.churchsuite.com/donate, with “Community Garden” selected from the dropdown box.
