Cotwalton Organic Dairy adds milkshake shots to their fresh milk bar

Cotwalton Organic DairyCotwalton Organic Dairy is looking to bring all the boys (and girls) to the yard as they add milkshake shots to their fresh organic self-service milk bar on the outskirts of Stone.

The farm is a family business, comprised of mum and dad – Susan and Chris and sons Rob and Tom who have been producing fresh milk on-site for over 20 years.
With business costs increasing, and the price of wholesale milk tumbling, the family decided to cut out the middle man and sell their organic milk direct to local people. Sending milk out directly with customers means fewer food miles for the produce that had previously left the farm in large milk tankers.
The family told A Little Bit of Stone:
“As a family business, we care deeply about the products we produce and saw an opportunity to reach our local customers directly.
We started with fresh pasteurised organic milk that customers can take away in reusable glass bottles as well as eggs that are also produced on the farm.
We have now added milkshake shots which means that customers can add a tasty flavour to our already delicious organic milk! One customer described our milk as “a glass of heaven”.
Our milk is produced in a sustainable and organic way, meaning we don’t use any artificial fertilisers or herbicides on the land, and no unnecessary antibiotics.”
You can visit the farm’s milk dispenser from 8am-8pm 7 days a week.
The prices are £2.50 for a bottle that can be reused forever, £1.40 for a litre of milk and 30p for a shot of Milkshake syrup – with all the vending machines taking contactless payments!
