Stone Revellers will bring Ray Cooney’s farce Out of Order to Crown Wharf Theatre in Stone this month.

The local theatre company will stage the comedy from Wednesday 10 June to Saturday 13 June 2026, with performances starting at 7.30pm each evening.
Written by Ray Cooney, Out of Order follows Tory Junior Minister Richard Willey during a chaotic evening in a Westminster hotel. His attempt to meet one of the Opposition’s secretaries quickly unravels when a body is discovered trapped in a sash window.
With the help of his well meaning but hapless private secretary George, Willey tries to contain the situation as hotel staff, spouses and a disgruntled nurse add to the confusion.
The production is being staged by Stone Revellers, with a cast and crew drawn from the local community.
Rob Stanway, Chairman of Stone Revellers, said
“We’re really excited to bring this show to Crown Wharf. It’s a genuinely laugh-out-loud comedy and a brilliant night out for audiences.
“We’ve got a fantastic team working on this production and it’s already shaping up to be something special.”
Out of Order runs at Crown Wharf Theatre from Wednesday 10 June to Saturday 13 June 2026.
Tickets are priced at £16 for adults and £14 for concessions, and are available from www.crownwharftheatre.org.uk
