The dates for the 2011 Stone Food and Drink Festival were revealed today.
This year’s festival weekend will be from Friday 30th September to Sunday 2nd October, with lots of events taking place in the town in the week leading up to the big weekend.

Last year’s festival, despite the rain, was another huge success, with tens of thousands of people visiting the town for the experience. The Hairy Bikers attracted the crowds and here’s hoping for another big name for 2011. No word on this year’s celebrity chef/chefs yet. Who would you like to see there??

Thanks for the suggestions! We’re hard at work already and hope to make an announcement soon. Topping the Hairy Bikers will be difficult but I’m hopeful we can do it! And I take your point Peggy about chef’s timings. There will be quite a few improvements in the Demonstration Kitchen this year and that will be one of them.
