Forget winter! Let’s prepare for spring

Temperatures may be plummeting and the dark nights drawing in but Stone in Bloom are already thinking of spring and will be planting thousands of daffodil bulbs in and around the town over the next few weeks.

And you can help to make sure that Stone is blooming with yellow colour.

Stone in Bloom will be planting 3,000 daffodil bulbs, with Aldi starting the ball rolling by replacing and planting bulbs that had to be dug up on the A34 central reservation in front of their store.

A big thank you to Aldi who have already begun to replace the bulbs they dug up when building thier new store. When Stone in Bloom asked them about replacing the bulbs it was only a few days before they began planting.
