The Salvation Army charity shop in Stone is giving away free school uniform items to help families with school age children.
The shop has been collecting hundreds of uniform items, including tops, jumpers, skirts and trousers. The items include good quality second hand uniform donated by local people, alongside hundreds of new items provided by a corporate donor.
Debs Homer, manager at the store, said
“It’s really important that we support families and help lower the cost for those that feel the pressure of having to buy a large number of school uniform items.
We are in a fortunate position that we receive lots of generous donations, so can create a great shopping experience for families and guardians, and their children.”
Items available may include blazers, trousers, skirts, sweatshirts, pinafores, shirts, polo shirts, PE kit and ties.
The free items are available while stocks last, and what is available may vary. Parents and guardians are being encouraged to visit the shop as soon as possible.
