Great Atmosphere at Late Night Shopping and Market

Father Christmas at the Market

Once again the residents of Stone came out in force to support the Stone Town Council organised late night shopping and market.

Stone is really getting the hang of late night shopping and late night markets as people came in and out of the town last night to partake in the shopping and market.

Whilst the majority of the town is usually closed from 5:30pm this special event allowed workers and their families an opportunity to get all Christmassy and explore their town.

There was stall after stall lined up from the top of the High Street to the bottom, creating a lovely shopping and browsing environment.  From food, to crafts and clothing there was a great mixture of local stall holders for local people.

The event was very well supported by many of the town centre shops also staying open up until 9pm.

Entertainment was provided by the Florence Brass Band who were all decked in festive hats for the occasion!

There was a fantastic buzz around the town and the visitors, stall holders and shop owners we all spoke to were very enthusiastic about it.

Here’s some pictures of the market when we were up there around 5:50pm
