Local beautician launches NailsByCaitieX at Sophie Maelle salon

A 21-year-old beautician has launched her own nail and brow business in Stone, building on five years in the industry.

Nail Salon

Caitie Giles is now welcoming clients to NailsByCaitieX, based at Sophie Maelle salon, 1 The Fillybrooks, ST15 0DH.

From salon experience to going solo

Caitie is a fully qualified Level 3 beautician and has worked in local salons and spas before deciding to branch out on her own this February.

She has trained with brands including The Gel Bottle, Lash Base and Elemis, developing her skills across nails and beauty treatments.

Starting her own business, she says, has always been the goal.

“I started my beauty business because I’m truly passionate about what I do.

“For me, it’s about so much more than treatments. It’s about connection, confidence, and helping people feel like the very best version of themselves.”

She added:

“I love nothing more than welcoming my clients in, having a chat, sharing a laugh, and really getting to know them.

“Creating a warm, friendly space where people can relax, feel comfortable, and enjoy a little time just for themselves is so important to me.”

Nail and brow treatments in the heart of town

NailsByCaitieX offers gel manicures and pedicures, alongside BIAB, Builder in a Bottle, treatments designed to strengthen natural nails while maintaining a polished finish.

Caitie also provides detailed nail art, from simple designs to more intricate sets, as well as brow tinting, waxing and shaping.

The business operates from Sophie Maelle salon at The Fillybrooks, just off the A34 and a short drive from Stone town centre.

Choosing Stone

For Caitie, setting up in Stone was a personal decision as much as a professional one.

“I chose to set my business up in Stone because it feels like home.

“I wanted to build my career somewhere with a real sense of community, somewhere friendly, welcoming, and full of lovely people.”

She said the salon space itself also felt like the right fit from the moment she walked in.

“It was important to me to work somewhere that feels welcoming, professional, and comfortable, a space where my clients can truly relax, enjoy their time, and feel looked after from the moment they arrive.”

Introductory offers

To mark the launch, Caitie is offering £5 off all nail services and 20% off all brow treatments for new and existing clients.

She is also keen to connect with other local businesses, including hair salons, bridal suppliers, boutiques and gyms, to explore joint promotions and referrals.

More information and bookings can be made via Fresha or through Instagram and Facebook at nailsbycaitiex.

For Stone residents looking for a local nail and brow specialist, there is a new name at The Fillybrooks.
