Local Scout group wants you!

1st Stone Scout group is looking for adults to volunteer, and you don’t have to be Bear Grylls to make a difference!

For as much or as little time as you can spare, the young people need volunteers to help run their scout group, whether it’s need tea making, activity planning, or just tidying up.

Volunteers help the scouts get going, get thinking and get stuck into all kinds of things to give them skills for life. Every now and then that may mean using a compass, but more often than not it’s about confidence, speaking up, thinking on their feet and going for it. Sections are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Head to firststonescouts.org.uk/volunteer or contact Kerry at gsl.first.stone@gmail.com or call 07853 362 734.
